Soccer Masters stun Adjoafuaman to draw at Adjoafua

Soccer Masters amazingly drew 1-1 with Adjoafuaman Football Club last Sunday at Nana Kwabena Badu I Sports Arena in Adjoafua.

Despite the draw, the power boys continued their wonderful records in their pre-season by hosting Soccer masters who had beaten them by 2-1 in the first leg in Debiso.

The curtain raiser match between the junior sides saw the power boys thrashing Soccer Masters by 3-0 making it 15 matches unbeaten for the Adjoafuaman fc U15 side.

The senior side (U17) after 17 matches had lost 4 drawing 1 and winning 12 matches.

The game started with a fantastic performance from both sides. The home side was short of key players which include Muntari Haruna, Micheal Yeboah, Ayisi, K.I and Owusu Favien

Enock slotted home a fine pass from Ansah Joseph in the 12minutes making it 1:0 before the first half.

The away side led by their playmaker Paa Kwasi took over the game in the second half and created a lot of chances creating problems for the defense of the power boys.

The away side was superfluous getting to the later part of the game where Paa Kwasi gave them the equalizer with one on one box to box passes where the goalie Ernest Mensah could not do anything about it.

The power boys upped their game trying to get the winning goal after Kusi moved in deep into the attacking side to pressure the away team but all the two clear chances were wasted by Eric Badu and David Kwarteng respectively.

The game ended with 1 goal at the piece at the Nana Kwabena Badu I Sports Arena in Sefwi Adjoafua in the Bia West District.

Meanwhile, Adjoafuaman Football Club will welcome Debisoman Fc in their next home game in two weeks time.
