Mr. Solomon Boamah, Special Aide to Hon. Alfred Obeng Boateng, the Member of Parliament for Bibiani Ahwiaso Bekwai constituency, has been stabbed as a result of burglary in the office of the MP.
According to sources, the burglars broke into the office of the Member of Parliament around 4 pm on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, reportedly to serve Mr. Solomon Boamah a writ for committal contempt.
The burglars, however, allegedly broke into the office of the Hon. Alfred Obeng Boateng in Bibiani but in the process of confrontation by Mr. Solomon Boamah, who is the current research and elections officer for the NPP and doubles as the Special Assistant to the MP, he was stabbed and has been admitted to the hospital.
The perpetrators identified reportedly include the current constituency communications officer, a bailiff from the Sefwi Wiawso High court, and two others.
Items including laptops, phones and an undisclosed amount of money were taken.
The police have been informed of the incident, meanwhile, Mr. Boamah is receiving treatment at the Bibiani Government hospital as police proceed with investigations.
