Western North Regional police open two-week promotional seminar for junior rank officers

The Western North regional police commander has opened a two-week promotional seminar for junior rank officers across the nine districts in the region.

The few selected Constables to be promoted to Lance Corporal in the Junior Rank Category of the Ghana Police Service.

The seminar is to equip them to deliver spectacular duties in the field of action.

The Western North Regional Police Commander, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Ernest Kirk Akrasi Mensah, has disclosed to the media that 25 police Constables are to be promoted to Lance Corporal rank.

Speaking to the press, Mr. Mensah outlined the need for the two-week promotional seminar.

He said the seminar is to remember the police officers of what they have learned from the police training institutions, and also to know their services/duties as heading into the rank as Lance Corporal.

He indicated that the 25 personnel, 11 females, and 14 males, were derived from all the nine districts in the Western North region, including Juaboso, Bodi, Bia West, Bia East, Wiawso, Aowin, Suaman, Akontombra, and Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai.

Adding the seminar will build up their confidence, skills, and knowledge to execute their core mandate.

He, accordingly, encouraged the personnel to learn hard to achieve their intents.
