Western North Sub-middle league to end today, check statistics

After two successful days, the Western North Region Sub-middle league will end Sunday, September 12, at Asawinso Awuah Memorial Park in the Sefwi Wiawso Municipality.

The games will begin with the Juaboso Derby at 9am as Sefwi All Stars battle leaders Nkwantaman United. Asawinso based Kofis Fc will play Bia Stars in another Group ‘B’ fixture at 11 o’clock.

Nkwantaman United and Sefwi All Stars have four points each, whilst Kofis Fc has two points after two games.

Sefwi All Stars, Nkwantaman United and Kofis Fc are all looking for a win in their respectful games to seek qualification to the Super Middle League.

However, Group ‘A’ leaders Vimabe Fc shall take on Boako Nationals as their last group match, whilst Bia West Champions Adjoafuaman Fc will face Winners of Bia East Division Two League, Yawmatwe Young Boys.

The group looks tougher as Vimabe Fc share the same points (four points) with Adjoafuaman Fc, and their qualification depends solely on them.

The Group winners will qualify for upcoming 2020/21 Western Region Division Two Super Middle League.

Administrative Rule

After all group matches and two teams tie with the same points, NO goal difference rule will be applied, but the game will be decided on penalties. 


Eight out of the 12 games has been played in two days, and recorded 19 goals.
