The Western North Volleyball Association will hold a Regional Executive meeting today, Wednesday, January 12, ahead of their activities in the 2022 season.
The agenda for the meeting would enable members deliberate on how best the game of volleyball could be lifted to the level where the region will count when it comes to the national volleyball team.
As part of the meeting, a visionary proposal will be presented before the Executives and is expected to be approved to fast-track the discipline’s task in the region.
Speaking to the Vice Chairman of Western North Volleyball Association, Mr. Stanley Ankrah, said the meeting will see the association planning ahead of its maiden Regional Final Competition and Inter-Regional Volleyball Tournament.
The Volleyball outfit commenced its activities in the region in 2021 with 16 clubs and hoping to strengthen their energies in the year and beyond to create employment for the youth.
