Football clubs in Western and Western North Regions can’t wait to bounce back to various match venues as fans look forward to watching talented footballers in the upcoming Second Division League.
However, clubs are waiting for the release of Sub Zones and fixtures ahead of the new football season.
A source close to Sefwinews.com indicates that the Western Regional Football Association will release the fixtures and Sub Zones for the 2021/22 Division Two League today, March 2, 2022.
The Regional Football Association has set March 4, 2022, to commence the League season.
Between February 21 and 28, 2022, the Western Regional Football Association Technical Inspection Team sightsaw both Western and Western North Regions to inspect match venues.
The exercise was done to pave way for the commencement of the Regional Elite football competition.
Meanwhile, 150 football clubs will compete in the 2021/22 Division Two League season, and 96 are expected to be relegated at the end of the season as Congress demands.
