𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺𝘀𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 – 𝗜𝗠𝗠𝗔 𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗠𝗣 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗻𝘀

Ghanaian gospel musician and trumpeter, IMMA TRUMP, has issued a passionate call to action, warning that the devastating impact of illegal mining, commonly known as galamsey, poses a serious threat to Christianity in Ghana.

In a heartfelt statement, IMMA TRUMP lamented the growing inaccessibility of forested areas once used for prayer and spiritual retreats, due to the environmental destruction caused by illegal mining activities.

He emphasized that these serene natural spaces have long served as sacred grounds for deep communion with God, but are now being lost to galamsey operations.

“Forests where Christians used to go for prayer and spiritual warfare have been destroyed. We’ve lost places of retreat and divine connection,” he said.

IMMA TRUMP also expressed grave concern over the increasing involvement of Ghanaian youth in illegal mining, stating that the allure of quick money is drawing them away from the core values of Christianity, such as integrity, hard work, and righteousness.

“Galamsey is not only destroying our lands and water bodies, it’s destroying the moral fabric of our youth. Many are abandoning their faith for fortune, and that is dangerous,” he added.

In response to this troubling trend, the gospel musician has released a powerful new single titled “Hallelujah”, a spiritual anthem that calls on believers to rise in prayer and unity against galamsey.

He believes the song can serve as both a worship tool and a weapon of spiritual resistance, urging Christians to fight this battle not just physically, but spiritually.

“Hallelujah is not just a song—it’s a call to action. Let us pray, let us speak out, and let us protect our land and our faith,” he charged.

IMMA TRUMP is encouraging churches, Christian organizations, and all people of faith to support efforts to end galamsey, safeguard Ghana’s environment, and uphold the values of Christianity.
