Nine-year-old Kobby, a talented young singer from Sefwi Wiawso in the Western North Region, has been crowned the winner of Adom TV’s Nsoromma Season 8 after delivering outstanding performances throughout the competition.
Kobby emerged victorious at the grand finale held at the West Hills Mall, bringing to a close a thrilling 13-week music reality competition that featured gifted young contestants from across Ghana.
His remarkable vocal ability, confidence, versatility and impressive stage presence earned him the admiration of judges and viewers alike.
A pupil of Daddy and Mummy Day School at Sefwi Dwenase in the Sefwi Wiawso Municipality, Kobby consistently distinguished himself from the early audition stages through to the live performances.
His exceptional displays on stage saw him receive multiple Best Performer of the Night awards, cementing his status as one of the strongest contenders in the competition.
Throughout the season, Kobby also enjoyed overwhelming public support, becoming a fan favourite as audiences across the country voted and rallied behind his performances.
As the Season 8 winner, Kobby received a cash prize of GH¢30,000, an all-expenses-paid trip from Kenya to Dubai, products from sponsors and a certificate of participation.
Selorm The Wonder finished as the first runner-up, receiving GH¢20,000, products from sponsors—including a laptop and items from Lavonce, Franko, Yumvita, Kivo, Didi Shito, Standard Mineral Water and Oba Spaghetti—as well as a certificate of participation.
Kobby’s triumph has sparked celebrations across the Western North Region, with many residents describing his achievement as a proud moment for Sefwi Wiawso and an inspiration to young talents across the region.
