WNR holds Inter-District JHS Independence Day Quiz Competition today

The 5th Annual Western North Regional Inter-District Quiz Competition for Junior High School students is scheduled to be held at Enchi College of Education (Enchico), today, March 4, 2024.

Organized by Eagle Eye Educational Consult in collaboration with the Western North Regional Education Service, this event holds special significance as it precedes the nationwide celebrations of Ghana’s Independence Day on March 6th.

With a reputation for excellence, the competition serves as a platform to spotlight the academic prowess and intellectual capabilities of Junior High School students from across the Western North Region.

Nine districts within the Western North Region have selected their finest representatives based on the top-performing BECE schools in each district.

These include Corsa Preparatory and JHS (Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai), WATICO Demonstration JHS (Sefwi Wiawso), Enchico Demonstration JHS (Aowin), Kerstine Catholic Complex School (Bia West), Adabokrom D/A JHS (Bia East), Kofikrom ‘W’ JHS (Akontombra), Dadieso Pentecost School (Suaman), Bebe Oseikrom JHS (Juaboso), and Sweet Jesus JHS of Bodi.

The competition promises not only intellectual challenges but also generous rewards for the participating schools:

1st Place School:

  • Three Brand New Tablets for the Contestants
  • Brand New Laptop for the School
  • Gold Medal for the Contestants
  • EMS Textbooks for the Contestants
  • Trophy for the School
  • Plaque for the School
  • Plaque for the District Education Directorate
  • Certificate for the Participating School
  • Certificate for the Contestants

2nd Place School:

  • Three Brand New Tablets for the Contestants
  • Medal for the Contestants
  • Plaque for the School
  • Plaque for the District Education Directorate

3rd Place School:
