The Western North Regional Minister, Wilbert Petty Brentum, has been bestowed with the title of Apagyahene of Sefwi Juaboso.
This distinguished honour was granted during his visit to the palace of Nana Ehwiarmah II, the chief of Sefwi Juaboso, in the Juaboso district.
During the ceremony, Nana Ehwiarmah II acknowledged Brentum’s long-standing association with Juaboso, where he has resided for several years and contributed immensely to its development.
The chief noted that Wilbert Petty Brentum previously served as the Assemblyman for Juaboso and played a crucial role in enhancing the well-being of the community.
He affirmed that Wilbert Petty Brentum is highly deserving of this recognition and encouraged him to continue utilizing his leadership expertise to support the traditional council and the people of Juaboso.
Expressing his appreciation, the newly enstooled Apagyahene, Wilbert Petty Brentum, conveyed his heartfelt gratitude to Nana Ehwiarmah II and the people of Juaboso for the privilege.
He emphasized that Juaboso has been his home for much of his life, and he considers himself an integral part of the community.
He reassured the chief and residents of his ongoing dedication to the progress of the area.
In his new role as Apagyahene, Brentum committed to assisting the palace in ensuring justice, promoting effective governance, and driving sustainable development in the community.
He promised to collaborate closely with the traditional leadership to strengthen unity and foster growth.
