Ezra 94.1 FM & Television has pulled off a major coup in Kumasi’s sports media space with the signing of celebrated sports broadcaster Richard Akowuah, popularly known as Little King and affectionately called Latest Intelligence.
The move comes as Ezra FM gears up to relaunch its much-anticipated sports programming after a long break.
Sources close to the station reveal that its General Manager, Rev. Aduanaba Kofi Asante, has sealed a deal to bring Little King on board as the head of the Foreign Sports Desk and host of their flagship sports show.
Little King’s switch from Sompa 93.1 FM & TV, where he joined just in January 2025 after leaving Precise FM, is generating buzz across the Ashanti Region. Known for his sharp analysis and compelling on-air presence, his departure — though swift — comes as no surprise, given his rising profile and reputation for making big moves.
Over the past few years, Little King has become one of Kumasi’s most mobile and influential sports voices, having worked with Otec 102.9 FM, Fox FM, Oyerepa FM, Adehye/Kumasi FM, Precise FM, and Sompa FM. His career reflects a steady rise through the ranks of sports journalism, fueled by passion, experience, and a deep connection with sports fans.
