The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced scheduled maintenance works aimed at improving service delivery on Friday, April 26, 2024.
The maintenance will take place between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and will affect various regions across the country.
In the Western North region, specifically the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality, parts of the Sefwi Wiawso Municipality, and sections of the Akontombra District, residents should anticipate a temporary interruption in power supply due to this maintenance exercise.
Additionally, areas within the Ashanti, Central, and Western Regions will also be impacted by this maintenance operation.
The following areas are expected to experience power outages during the maintenance period: Diaso, Ankwaso, Juabo, Ayiem, Ntom, Bethlehem, Nkronua South, Amoaman, Pewodie, Asuadei, Nyinawusu, Betinase, Ampabene, Modaso, Akatrika, Wassa Mampong, New Obuase, Mmrewa, Nkronua North, Asaman, Akwaboso, Subin, Ameyaw, Asawinso ‘A’, Namro, Subiri Nkwanta, Chirano, Kojina and Kwamekrom.
Others include Bibiani Township, Nzema Nkwanta, Bayerebon, Nyinahin, Anasu, Abofrem, Wenchi, Aboduabo, Agogoso, Amangoase, Kwanfinfi, Kukuboso, Awaso Township, Atronsu, Sefwi Bekwai, Humjibre, Adjakaa Manso, Kyeikrom, Kweku Boa, Samfifire, Kofi Gyan, Aboaonidua, Paboase, Akoti, Ntentrenso, Ewiase, RCC, Amafie, Kesekrom, Nsawora, Bopa, Adjeikrom, and surrounding communities.
ECG expresses regret for any inconvenience that may arise from this necessary maintenance work and assures affected residents of a swift restoration of power upon completion of the exercise.
Residents are encouraged to make necessary arrangements to minimize any inconvenience during the maintenance period.
