Soccer Lions’ Head Coach, Benjamin Martin Appiah, popularly known as “Fantastic,” has expressed confidence in his team’s readiness to secure victory against Yawmatwa Young Boys in their Week 4 league match.
The game is scheduled to take place on Sunday, January 5, at 1:00 PM at the Bia Sec/Tech Park in Debiso.
Coach Appiah Fantastic, speaking ahead of the clash, highlighted the positive atmosphere in the Lions’ camp. “The camp is positively charged with no injury scares. The guys are in good spirits, and we are praying for luck,” he said.
With Soccer Lions coming off a solid start to the season—drawing 0-0 with Bia Stars in Week 1, defeating Adjoafuaman FC 2-1 in Week 2, and witnessing an abrupt end to their Week 3 game against Agoro Mma FC at Elluokrom—the team currently has 4 points and an outstanding game in hand.
Benjamin Martin Appiah emphasized the importance of creating and converting chances in the game, which he believes will be the key to securing the win.
“We’ve practiced a lot of scoring drills over the last week, and that’s going to be the magic tomorrow. I want the boys to create more chances, and I’m confident that at least two or more will result in goals,” he remarked.
“It’s a must-win game, and we are approaching it with a positive mindset,” Coach Appiah added, underlining the team’s determination to maintain momentum in their pursuit of league success.
Soccer Lions fans will be looking forward to witnessing the fruits of their coach’s strategic preparations and tactical focus as the team battles to assert their dominance against one of the league’s most seasoned teams.
