Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the 2024 flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), will begin a nationwide Thank You Tour on Saturday, April 26, 2025, to show appreciation to party members and Ghanaians for their support during the 2024 elections.

He will be accompanied by the leadership of the Party, including members of the National Executive Committee, the Campaign Team, and other key officials.

The tour, which has the full support of the NPP’s National Council, will cover all sixteen regions of the country and aims to strengthen the bond between the Party’s leadership and its grassroots while giving thanks to God for His guidance throughout the election period.

The tour is under the theme “In All Things, Give Thanks to God” (1 Thessalonians 5:18). This shows the Party’s belief in God and how thankful they are for His help during the election period.

As well as saying thank you, the tour will also help bring the Party’s leaders and members closer together and build stronger unity.

The exercise will take place in all sixteen regions of Ghana. It will start in the Western Region on April 26 and end in the Central Region on June 4, 2025.

Each region will have meetings where NPP members and supporters can gather, celebrate, and look ahead to the future together.

Because of its importance, the Ashanti Region will host the exercise for three days, from April 29 to May 1.

The NPP is asking all its members and supporters to take part in the events in their areas. The tour will end with special thanksgiving services, including both Christian and Muslim prayers.

This tour is a way for the Party to show appreciation, reconnect with the people, and prepare for what lies ahead. The leaders say that being thankful and united is the key to moving forward together.
