The Ghana Premier League title race changed after Matchweek 30, as Nations FC moved to the top of the table with a 1-0 win over Accra Lions.
Heart of Lions also climbed to second place after beating FC Samartex 2-1. These results have made the title race even closer, with both teams now strong contenders.
Bibiani GoldStars, who were leading before, dropped to third after losing 0-1 at home to Karela United. This loss hurt their chances of winning the league and gave Nations FC the chance to move ahead.
Karela’s win came through good defending and important goals. It helped them move up the table and slowed down GoldStars’ progress.
In another big game, Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko drew 0-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium. The match had few chances and both teams focused more on defending. Kotoko stay in fourth place, but their title hopes are now in doubt.
With four matches left, the title race is still open. Every point will matter in the final games.
