A former stalwart of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Richard Amoako Baah, has made a startling claim, alleging that a dark spiritual force has engulfed the party.
According to the political analyst, this spiritual corruption is the root cause of the rampant dishonesty and inhumane actions observed during President Akufo-Addo’s administration.
He shared these views during an interview on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem programme.
“The NPP has fallen under satanic influence. That’s why criminal acts no longer shock us. People lie without shame, embezzle funds without guilt—just think about how pensioners were treated. They allowed KAMA to die without lifting a finger. How heartless can they be? They’ll definitely face consequences for their actions,” he declared.
Dr. Amoako Baah’s comments follow closely on the heels of similar concerns raised by Professor Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng, a former Minister for Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation.
The respected surgeon and politician recently urged the party to purge itself of what he called “demonic elements.”
Professor Frimpong-Boateng also called on the NPP’s leadership to step down, accusing them of steering the party into an embarrassing loss during the 2024 general elections.
He believes a comprehensive overhaul of the party’s leadership is crucial to rebuilding credibility and restoring confidence among the party’s base and the general public.
