𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲

The Ghana Police Service has interdicted General Lance Corporal Shani Abdullai after he was found in possession of restricted pharmaceutical substances at Kpalsi, a suburb of Tamale in the Northern Region.

According to a statement issued by the Police, the interdiction is to pave the way for a thorough investigation into his conduct, in accordance with the regulations governing the Police Service.

The incident has raised concerns about the integrity and discipline expected of personnel in uniform. The Police Administration has assured the public of its commitment to upholding professional standards and ensuring that any personnel found to have breached the law or ethics of the Service will be dealt with decisively.

Further details on the type and quantity of the substances involved have not yet been disclosed, as investigations are currently underway.

The Ghana Police Service reiterated its stance on maintaining discipline and integrity among its officers and pledged to update the public as the case progresses.
