The Chief Executive Officer of Raycof Group of Companies, Elder Dr. Nana Kwofie Ramus, has been conferred with an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Humane Letters (D.H.L, Honoris Causa) by the Elohim Theological College & Seminary in Accra.
The conferment, which took place on August 15, 2025, in Sefwi Wiawso, celebrated Dr. Ramus’s exceptional contributions to humanity, philanthropy, and community development across the Western North Region and Ghana at large.
According to the seminary, the recognition was based on his outstanding humanitarian service, impactful research on social development, and dedication to the church, education, and society.
The institution described him as “a man of integrity, vision, and compassion who has consistently demonstrated excellence in leadership and service.”

Over the years, Elder Dr. Nana Kwofie Ramus has championed numerous projects aimed at uplifting communities. His contributions to church development include the construction of several worship centers that have strengthened faith and unity among residents.
In education, he funded a two-unit kindergarten block with an office and playground at Nsawora in the Sefwi Akontombra District, as well as projects at the Sefwi Wiawso Senior Technical School, where a hostel was named in his honour.
In healthcare, he financed the construction of an ultra-modern accident and emergency unit at the Sefwi Wiawso Government Hospital, improving emergency response and saving lives.
He also donated cement for the construction of a children’s ward at Tarkwa Government Hospital.
Currently, he is spearheading the construction of a one-storey Police Divisional Command Office Complex in Sefwi Wiawso to strengthen security and law enforcement.
The board of Elohim Theological College & Seminary — an affiliate of the Apostolic University, USA — said Dr. Kwofie embodies the qualities of a mentor, life coach, philanthropist, and humanitarian.
The conferment ceremony was led by Archbishop Prof. Dr. Kwame Aburam Anoff Sr., who commended him for his unwavering commitment to societal progress.

In his acceptance speech, Elder Dr. Nana Kwofie Ramus expressed heartfelt gratitude to God, his family, and all supporters of his journey, pledging to expand his philanthropic efforts.
“This honour is not just for me, but for the people and communities I serve. It challenges me to do more for humanity and to remain committed to building a better future,” he stated.
