𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗲𝘁 𝗪𝗶𝘀𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗔𝗵𝗮 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆

Prophet Dr. Wisdom Aha, Founder and General Overseer of Believers Weapon Ministry, has been conferred with an honorary Doctorate Degree in Executive Leadership in Humanity by International Kingdom University (IKU), Florida, United States of America.

The event, which took place on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Believers Weapon Ministry, Sefwi Asawinso, recognized Prophet Aha’s extraordinary contributions to spiritual leadership, humanitarian service, spanning education, healthcare, and community development.

Prophet Aha’s journey into ministry began in 2000, following a divine dream that called him to full-time evangelism. Since then, he has preached across multiple towns and denominations, eventually founding Believers Weapon Ministry in 2012.

He has trained over 15 ministers of the gospel, established multiple church branches, and launched the King Jesus Evangelism (KJE) Radio and Television Multimedia platform to reach the unreached and amplify community transformation.

Beyond ministry, Prophet Dr. Aha has contributed significantly to regional development. He serves as the Vice President of the Western North Development Association (WENDA Ghana) and General Secretary of the Sefwi Asawinso Development Association (SADA).

Over the years, he has provided books, school uniforms, sanitary pads for girls, rehabilitated school buildings, cared for orphans and widows, supported the sick by paying hospital bills, and assisted women in income-generating ventures.

Beneficiaries of his philanthropy include community schools such as Asawinso Senior High School, Asawinso Schools A & B, Asawinso English and Arabic Primary & JHS, Asawinso SDA Primary, Sefwi Essakrom Primary & JHS, Sefwi Elluokrom Primary & JHS, Sefwi Nsinsem Primary & JHS, Sefwi Asempaneye Anglican Primary & JHS, Kantakurobo Primary & JHS, Kankyeabo Primary & JHS, among others.

Health facilities, including Asafo St John of God Catholic Hospital, Asawinso SDA Clinic, and Asawinso Government Hospital, have also benefited from his benevolence.

Prophet Dr. Wisdom Aha also extends care to inmates at Asawinso Police Station through regular visits, offering food, financial aid, and spiritual guidance.

Retired Deputy Director of Education, Mr. Joseph Arthur, the guest speaker at the honorary doctorate conferment ceremony, described the event as a historic moment for Believers Weapon Ministry, Sefwi Asawinso, and the Western North Region.

He lauded Prophet Wisdom Aha, whom he called a “giant in the hinterland,” for being conferred the Doctor of Executive Leadership in Humanity (Honorary Degree) by the internationally acclaimed International Kingdom University, Florida, USA.

Mr. Joseph Arthur who doubles as Headteacher of Emeralds Premier School, highlighted Prophet Aha’s 25 years of exceptional spiritual and humanitarian work, emphasizing his commitment to preaching, church planting, and community development..

He revealed that Prophet Aha’s journey from a secondary school student to a prominent spiritual leader reflects his commitment, resilience, and dedication, noting that he used his school fees to support ministry work and evangelized across multiple towns both during and after his secondary education.

He also spoke about Prophet Aha’s strong leadership, generosity, and work in training church leaders, helping vulnerable people, and promoting education and development in Sefwi Asawinso and across the Western North Region.

Mr. Joseph Arthur pointed out Prophet Aha’s studies and work with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem as proof of his learning and forward-thinking leadership.

He also acknowledged the key role of Prophet Aha’s wife, Mrs. Vivian Aha, whose prayers, support, and work with women and youth have greatly contributed to the success of his ministry.

He praised International Kingdom University for recognizing a 21st-century leader of impact and called on the institution to continue fostering opportunities for committed leaders from Ghana’s hinterlands.

Mr. Arthur Joseph urged Prophet Aha to use the honour to further his transformative leadership and Christ-centered legacy.

In his acceptance speech, Prophet Dr. Wisdom Aha stated that the honour is not his alone but belongs to his people, community, and God, emphasizing that leadership is about vision, sacrifice, and lifting others rather than titles or positions.

Prophet Dr. Aha reflected on his journey from humble beginnings in Sefwi Asawinso, acknowledging that every challenge and victory has been guided by divine providence. He cited Psalm 118:23, saying: “This is the LORD’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.”

He described the recognition as a beginning rather than an end, renewing his commitment to advance humanity, foster peace, and defend the vulnerable.

Addressing the next generation, Prophet Dr. Aha said greatness is measured not by accumulation or status but by the impact one has and how many lives one lifts while rising.

He dedicated the degree to all who believe in service, integrity, and the hope of a brighter tomorrow, praying that the honour inspires leadership that heals, empowers, and transforms.

He thanked all present and wished blessings on the institution and attendees, expressing hope for restoration for any losses incurred in attending the program.

On his part, the International Kingdom University (IKU) International Chancellor, Rev. Dr. Cristian Heim, praised Prophet Aha and his wife, Mrs. Vivian Aha as a remarkable couple whose dedication to serving the nation and communities is a testament to their character and commitment.

As International Chancellor of IKU and International Director for the Global Citizens of Impact Honor Program, Rev. Dr. Heim stated that the honorary doctorate recognizes Prophet Aha’s outstanding contributions to ministry, community development, and leadership.

Rev. Dr. Heim extended his gratitude to the organizing committee, including Professor TK Hayford, Vice Chancellor, and Louis Nsor, Nomination Director, acknowledging their tireless efforts in making the event possible.
