The Mining Manager of Asante Gold Bibiani Limited, Mr. Frank Danquah, has donated 50 bags of cement to Homa Ghana, an orphanage home located at Lineso in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region.
The donation, made on Thursday as part of his birthday celebration, is to support the orphanage in its ongoing building project aimed at providing better accommodation for the children.
Speaking in an interview with Kaakyire on Okyeame Radio, Mr. Danquah said his decision to give back to society was inspired by the biblical principle that “God delights in those who give cheerfully to orphans, widows, and the needy.”
He also encouraged individuals and organizations to extend similar support to Homa Ghana and other charitable institutions, emphasizing that “no amount of help is too small when it comes from a good heart.”
Mr. Danquah further advised the caretakers of the orphanage to make good use of all donations received to maintain the trust of donors and encourage more assistance in the future.
On behalf of the orphanage, Pastor Emmanuel Boateng, founder of Homa Ghana, expressed heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Danquah for his benevolent gesture.
He described the donation as timely, noting that the home is currently facing several challenges, including inadequate accommodation and essential supplies. Pastor Boateng appealed to other benevolent individuals, churches, and corporate bodies to come to their aid.
