Sefwinews will begin a special content production tour of the Western North Region next week as part of its commitment to promoting the positive image of the region and highlighting its hidden potential.
While the media often focuses on challenges and negative developments, Sefwinews believes there is also a responsibility to tell stories of progress, development, culture, and opportunities.
Through this initiative, the organisation aims to showcase the beauty of Western North and present a balanced narrative that reflects the region’s true identity.
The exercise will commence in the Bia West District, where the Sefwinews team will capture and document beautiful buildings, hotels, educational institutions, tourist attractions, business centres, farms, roads, and other landmarks that demonstrate the growth and uniqueness of the region.
The content will be shared across Sefwinews’ digital platforms to promote tourism, investment, and local pride.
The Chief Executive Officer of Sefwinews, Kwame Adolf Asmah, said the initiative forms part of the organisation’s vision to change the narrative about Western North by highlighting the positive stories that often go unnoticed.
He stressed that every community in the region has inspiring stories, remarkable places, and opportunities that deserve national attention.
The Bia West tour will serve as the first phase of the project, with plans to extend the exercise to all other districts and municipalities across the Western North Region.
Sefwinews is committed to showcasing the beauty, achievements, culture, and development potential of every part of the region.
Sefwinews is therefore calling on traditional authorities, district assemblies, businesses, institutions, and residents to support the initiative as the organisation works together with stakeholders to project the true image and potential of Western North to Ghana and the world.
