Ghana Premier League champions Medeama SC are close to completing the signing of midfielder Emmanuel Fobi, with negotiations between both parties at an advanced stage.
The former Meshakhte Tkibuli midfielder is expected to finalize his move to the Tarkwa-based club later this week, subject to the completion of final discussions and paperwork.
Fobi has already joined Medeama’s training sessions as the club continues preparations for the upcoming season. His arrival is expected to strengthen the midfield department as the Yellow and Mauves look to defend their domestic title and compete on the continental stage.
The 21-year-old Ghanaian midfielder previously featured in Georgia’s football league, where he gained international experience before making his anticipated return to Ghana football.
If the deal is completed, Emmanuel Fobi will become one of Medeama’s latest additions as the club continues to build a competitive squad for domestic and CAF Champions League challenges.
