Bernard Gyebi Blay declares intention to contest Bia West NPP Parliamentary Primaries

Bernard Gyebi Blay, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Bia West in the 2020 and 2024 general elections, has declared his intention to contest the party’s parliamentary primaries for a third time.

Having represented the party in two consecutive general elections, Mr Blay is seeking another opportunity to lead the NPP into the next parliamentary contest in the constituency.

His latest move is built around a message of consistency, experience and humility, which he is presenting as the key qualities behind his renewed ambition to serve the people of Bia West.

Mr Blay’s previous outings as the party’s parliamentary candidate have given him experience in the constituency’s political terrain, grassroots engagement and the demands of parliamentary elections.

His decision to return to the race signals his determination to continue his political journey with the NPP and make another bid for the Bia West parliamentary seat.

If successful in the primaries, he will become the party’s candidate for the third consecutive time, positioning himself for another challenge in the 2028 general elections.
