Sefwi All Stars secure victory over King Faisal at Asafo Ramos Park

Sefwi All Stars secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over King Faisal on Match Day Two of the Access Bank Division One League at Asafo Ramos Park.

The match kicked off with an early breakthrough as Isaac Yeboah of King Faisal found the back of the net in the 14th minute, giving his team an early lead.

However, the lead didn’t last long, as Sefwi All Stars managed to level the score in the 24th minute. The equalizer came from the penalty spot after a powerful strike from Gideon Anaba struck the defender’s hand, leading to a penalty kick.

The captain, Asare Kwadwo James, stepped up to take the penalty and coolly slotted it into the net, making it 1-1.

As the match progressed, the excitement continued to build. Gideon Anaba showcased his skills by scoring an impressive header from a cross provided by Kwadwo James.

This crucial goal occurred in the 73rd minute and gave Sefwi All Stars a 2-1 advantage, which they successfully defended until the final whistle.

In Zone Two of the Access Bank Division One League, Sefwi All Stars hold the seventh position, having accumulated 3 points from their two games played.
