Fijai United unveil new kit in friendly against Sekondi-Takoradi Selected Professionals

Fijai United Soccer Academy is set to kick off the 2023/24 league season in style as they unveil their brand-new jerseys in a friendly game against Sekondi-Takoradi Selected Professionals (SAMBA).

This exciting event is made possible through the generous support of their long-time supporters, English Premier League side AFC Bournemouth.

In a heartwarming gesture, AFC Bournemouth has donated 16 boxes of high-quality jerseys to Fijai United Soccer Academy.

Over the years, AFC Bournemouth has shown unwavering support for Fijai United Soccer Academy, not only through jersey donations but also by providing essential football equipment such as cones and training gear.

These contributions have had a tangible impact on the academy’s growth, enabling them to excel and achieve significant milestones in Ghanaian football.

The friendly game where the new jerseys will be unveiled is set to take place today, Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at the Fijai Astro Turf. Kick-off time is scheduled for 3 pm, and football enthusiasts from the region are expected to flock to the venue to witness this exciting occasion.

This unveiling comes on the heels of Fijai United Soccer Academy’s successful pre-season campaign, which included the elimination of Adjoafuaman FC in the preliminary stage of the 2023/24 MTN FA Cup.

The academy is poised to make a strong impact in the upcoming Division Two League season, and their new jerseys will undoubtedly add to the team’s confidence and motivation as they embark on this new football journey.

The partnership and support from AFC Bournemouth not only showcase the camaraderie in the global football community but also highlight the positive influence of collaboration and mentorship in nurturing young talents and promoting the beautiful game.

Fijai United Soccer Academy remains grateful for the continued support from their friends at AFC Bournemouth as they prepare for an exciting and promising season ahead.
