Soocer Lions host Ogidi Stars on Thursday

The Soccer Lions Football Club is set to clash with Division Two counterparts Ogidi Stars this Thursday, May 30, at Debiso Park.

This match forms a key part of their build-up to the Western Regional Football Association Super Middle League, which is scheduled to commence next month.

The upcoming encounter marks the Simba Boys’ fourth preparatory game. They have shown promising form in their previous matches, beginning with a dominant 5-1 victory over Great Asona FC.

This was followed by a 1-1 draw against Sefwi All Stars and a goalless draw against Adjoafuaman FC last Sunday. Across these three games, Soccer Lions have scored six goals while conceding only two.

Under the guidance of Coach Martin Benjamin Appiah, who took charge earlier this month, the team remains unbeaten.

Coach Appiah’s leadership has evidently improved the squad, as their recent performances highlight both their attacking prowess and defensive solidity.

The Simba Boys’ impressive form positions them as strong contenders for the upcoming Super Middle League.
