Vincent Atingah extends contract with Bibiani Goldstars

Highly-rated Ghanaian defender Vincent Atingah has committed to staying with Bibiani Goldstars in the Ghana Premier League by signing a new contract.

The former Hearts of Oak centre-back has agreed to a two-year extension, ensuring he remains with the club until 2026.

The deal was announced on Wednesday by Bibiani Goldstars, who highlighted Atingah’s outstanding performance during the 2023/24 season as a key factor in their decision to offer him an extended contract.

In their official Facebook post, Bibiani Goldstars stated, “Atingah and Bibiani GoldStars SC have reached an agreement to EXTEND his contract. He was instrumental in our survival last season and now Defender Vincent Atingah has penned a two-year contract with the club.”

At 30 years old, Vincent Atingah has established himself as one of Ghana’s premier defenders over the past few years.

Notably, he played a crucial role for Medeama SC when they secured their first Ghana Premier League title two seasons ago.
