Bernard Gyebi Blay, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Bia West Constituency, has extended significant support to Bia Senior High School as part of his commitment to youth development and educational improvement in the district.
During a visit to the school today, December 4, Bernard Gyebi Blay made a cash donation of GHC 20,000, provided 10 street bulbs, and handed over two sewing machines to the Home Economics Department.
He described the gesture as a response to a specific request by the school and a reflection of his continuous support for the youth in the Bia West District.
“I came to motivate and thank the school for their cooperation during my three years in office as District Chief Executive. If one does not have Bia West at heart, they would not make such a contribution to support the youth as I have done,” he said.
In addition to these donations, Mr. Gyebi Blay also provided GHC 20,000 to support the school’s Cadet Corps. He assured the school of his presence during the unveiling of the Cadet uniforms, underscoring his dedication to fostering discipline and leadership among students.
He commended the school for its recent improvement in final examination performance and emphasized the importance of investing in facilities to sustain and enhance academic excellence.
As the parliamentary elections approach, Bernard Gyebi Blay called on students, parents, guardians, and residents of Bia West to support his candidacy.
He promised to bring greater development and opportunities to the area if elected.
“The school’s progress is a testament to what can be achieved with the right support. Together, we can accomplish even more for Bia West,” he concluded.
This gesture highlights Bernard Gyebi Blay’s focus on education, infrastructure, and youth empowerment, cementing his reputation as a leader committed to the progress of his constituency.
