The Western Region Division Two League – Bia West Zone is set to enter its fourth week, with several exciting matches lined up across the district.

Soccer Lions vs. Young Boys: A Top-Notch Encounter

Debiso-based Soccer Lions will welcome Yawmatwa Young Boys to the Bia Sec/Tech Park in Debiso on Sunday, January 5, at 1:00 pm. This match promises to be a thrilling encounter, as Yawmatwa Young Boys is one of the most experienced teams in the league.

Soccer Lions will be looking to build on their impressive start to the season, having beaten Adjoafuaman FC 2-1 at home in Week 2 on the same venue.

They drew 0-0 with Bia Stars in Week 1 at Adjoafua Park and had their Week 3 match against Agoro Mma FC ending abruptly at Elluokrom. Soccer Lions currently have 4 points with one outstanding game, with 2 goals scored and 1 conceded.

Young Boys, on the other hand, have had a mixed start to the season. They lost 1-2 to Adom FC in Week 1 at home in Yawmatwa but bounced back to beat Agoro Mma FC 1-2 in Week 2 at Elluokrom and Bia Stars 1-0 in Week 3 at Yawmatwa.

Young Boys FC has 6 points, with 3 goals scored and 2 conceded, placing them second on the league table with a goal difference.

Bia Stars vs. Adjoafuaman FC: A Local Derby

The biggest match of the weekend will be the local derby between Bia Stars and Adjoafuaman FC, both based in Adjoafua. The match will take place at the Adjoafua Town Park on Sunday at 3:00 pm.

Bia Stars will be looking to break their goal-scoring duck this season, having failed to score in their opening three matches. They drew 0-0 with Soccer Lions in Week 1 at home in Adjoafua, They then drew 0-0 with Debiso Adom FC at home before they lost 0-1 to Young Boys in Week 3, and are yet to score a goal this season.

Adjoafuaman FC, on the other hand, has had a strong start to the season, with two wins and one defeat. They trashed Agoro Mma FC 3-1 in Week 1 and Adom FC 1-0 in Week 3, but lost 1-2 to Soccer Lions in Week 2.

Adjoafuaman FC has scored 5 goals in their 3 matches and conceded 3, making them the league’s top scorers. They currently lead the league table with 6 points.

Head Coach Candy and his Adjoafuaman FC team will be looking to capitalize on Bia Stars’ struggles and secure another win.

Adom FC vs. Agoro Maa FC: A Must-Win for Adom FC

Debiso-based Adom FC will welcome Elluokrom Agoro Maa FC to the Bia Sec/Tech park on Sunday at 3:00 pm. Adom FC will be looking to bounce back from their 0-1 loss to Adjoafuaman FC in Week 3.

Adom FC has had a mixed start to the season, beating Young Boys 2-1 in Week 1 at Yawmatwa, drawing 0-0 with with Bia Stars at Adjoafua in Week 2, and losing 0-1 to Adjoafuaman FC in Week 3 at Adjoafua. They currently have 4 points, with 2 goals scored and 2 conceded.

Agoro Maa FC, on the other hand, has struggled to find their footing this season. They lost 3-1 to Adjoafuaman FC in Week 1, 1-0 to Young Boys in Week 2, and had their Week 3 match against Soccer Lions abandoned. Agoro Maa FC has 0 point, with 1 goal scored and 4 conceded.

Adom FC will be looking to capitalize on Agoro Maa FC’s struggles and secure a much-needed win.
