President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Sammy Gyamfi as the acting Managing Director of the Precious Minerals Marketing Company (PMMC).
Gyamfi’s appointment comes with a crucial mandate: to oversee the establishment of GOLDBOD, a new entity dedicated to gold trading.
The announcement was shared by Felix Kwakye Ofosu on his X handle, emphasizing Gyamfi’s new role and the confidence placed in him to lead this ambitious project.
GOLDBOD is expected to significantly enhance Ghana’s gold trading capacity, solidifying the nation’s position in the global mineral market.
