Soccer Lions crush Winners FC 10-0 ahead of Division 2 League return

Soccer Lions have made a bold statement ahead of the second round of the Western Regional Football Association (WRFA) Division Two League with a resounding 10-0 victory over Essam Winners FC.

The emphatic win showcased the team’s attacking abilities, with five goals scored in each half.

Ndori led the charge with a sensational hat-trick, while Ababio Fabio netted a brace. Alu Kingsley, Addea, David (two goals), and Mbappe also found the back of the net to complete the rout.

With this commanding performance, the Simba Boys have positioned themselves favourably in the league. They currently sit third on the table with eight points and have a game in hand, keeping their hopes alive for qualification.

Coach Appiah Fantastic’s side resumed training on Monday, January 27, at Onyankopon Park in Debiso, with their sights set on securing a second consecutive qualification for the WRFA Super Middle League. The ultimate target remains earning a spot in Ghana’s Division One League.

Meanwhile, Soccer Lions will commence their second-round campaign against Bia Stars at Bia Sectech Park in Debiso on Sunday, February 2.

The team will be looking to maintain their fine form and push for promotion as the season progresses.
