The Parliamentary Candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Bia West constituency, Mustapha Tanko Amadu, has fulfilled his pledge by donating an Articulator Truck to the party.
This donation represents a tangible stride in bolstering both the National Democratic Congress’s operations and community development efforts within the Bia West constituency
The commitment to donate the truck was initially made by Mustapha Tanko Amadu during his campaign for candidacy, where he assured NDC delegates of his dedication to enhancing the party’s infrastructure and resources.
Following his victory in the constituency primaries last year over the incumbent MP, Prof Augustine Tawiah, Mustapha Tanko Amadu has now delivered on his promise, demonstrating his steadfast dedication to the party’s cause.
The formal presentation of the truck took place during a mini-ceremony held in Sefwi Adjoufua on Saturday, April 20, 2024.
Addressing attendees, Mustapha Tanko Amadu, said the truck will serve as a vital source of funding for the party activities and events, ensuring that they have the resources necessary to amplify their voices and advocate for the causes that matter most to the party.
Additionally, he stressed its vital contribution to advancing healthcare and educational projects both within the constituency and in neighboring constituencies.
However, inaugurating a fifteen-member committee tasked with overseeing the efficient operation of the truck, Mustapha Tanko Amadu ensured that proper mechanisms are in place for its effective utilization.
This committee will play a pivotal role in managing the truck’s activities and maximizing its potential impact on both party affairs and community development initiatives.
Bia West Constituency Chairman of NDC, Nana Ahmed Ibrahim, urged all NDC members, particularly branch executives, to unite and redouble their efforts in preparation for the upcoming 2024 elections, emphasizing the importance of focusing on substantive issues.
The event saw the presence of individuals including the Chief and Elders of Sefwi Adjoufua, Constituency Executives, Branch Executives, members of the media, and residents of Adjoufua.
