Western North Championship: Sefwi Royal battle Mighty Sayere for the top spot

Bonsu Nkwanta-based Sefwi Royal Football Club will face league leaders Mighty Sayere FC in a battle for the coveted top spot in the In a highly showdown in the Juaboso/Wiawso Zone of the Western North Championship.

In the opening round of this fixture, the game ended with a 1-1 score at Nana Frimpong Menso Park in Sefwi Sayerano during the first week of the Western North Championship.

Sefwi Royal, who enjoyed an early lead in the Zone from week one, suffered a setback last week, succumbing to a 2-0 defeat against Santos in Kantagrubo.

This loss saw them slip from the pinnacle of the table, currently occupying the second spot with 7 points. The team has managed two wins and a draw in the five games played so far, aiming to bounce back with a crucial victory at home.

Having faced defeat twice in the competition, Sefwi Royal is eager to secure their third win on home turf, solidifying their position in the Semi-Finals of the Western North Championship.

On the other side of the pitch, league leaders Mighty Sayere FC remain undefeated in the competition, determined to extend their unbeaten streak as they clash with Sefwi Royal on Sunday.

Mighty Sayere FC sits comfortably at the top of the league table with 9 points, having secured two wins and three draws in their five games played.

The November 26th encounter promises to be a thrilling spectacle, with both teams vying for supremacy and a chance to assert dominance in the Juaboso/Wiawso Zone.
