Emmanuel Mensah Richardson Bentum, popularly known as Ember Power has officially joined Sompa 93.1 FM as their new Sports Host.
Ember brings a wealth of experience to the role, having begun his broadcasting career at Liberty 92.7 FM in Sefwi Wiawso, before moving on to establish his name at Ezra 94.1 FM as a leading sports presenter. Following his departure from Ezra FM, he joined Agyapa TV.
His arrival at Sompa FM coincides with the departure of Little King, the station’s former Sports Host and Foreign News Presenter, who has resigned and returned to Ezra FM.
At Sompa, Ember will team up with Cinko to deliver top-tier foreign sports news and analysis while also leading the “Sompa Sports” show.
His appointment is widely seen as a strategic move to rejuvenate the station’s sports programming, which many believe has seen a decline following the exit of several key personalities.
Ember’s extensive experience and dynamic style are expected to bring new energy, credibility, and excitement to Sompa FM’s sports department, marking a new chapter in the station’s ongoing growth.
