𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘀: 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗝𝘂𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘀𝗼 𝗗𝗖𝗘 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗶𝗿

The immediate past District Chief Executive (DCE) for Juaboso, Godfred Kwabena Adjei Asante, has rubbished claims suggesting that government property went missing from his official residence after the 2024 general elections.

This comes in response to recent media reports alleging that a television, mattress, and other items could not be accounted for during an audit conducted by the district assembly.

In an interview with the press, Godfred Kwabena Adjei Asante firmly denied the accusations, stating that all government assets were duly handed over to the District Director Assistant One as part of the official exit process.

“I followed all the proper procedures and ensured every item was handed over. I took nothing with me that belonged to the assembly,” he clarified.

He further described the claims as a calculated attempt to dent his image, warning those behind the allegations to desist from dragging his name into political mudslinging.

“My conscience is clear. I’m ready to cooperate with any investigation, but I refuse to be a target for anyone’s political agenda,” he emphasized.

The former DCE also revealed that he has not received any formal notification or query from the assembly regarding the said missing assets.

Godfred Kwabena Adjei Asante urged the public to treat the reports with caution, stressing the need for honesty and fairness in public discourse.
