2024 INTERCO: Bia West DCE donates Jerseys to Adjoafua SHS, Bia SecTech

The District Chief Executive (DCE) and New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for the Bia West Constituency, Bernard Gyebi Blay, has once again demonstrated his commitment to education and sports development in the area.  

In a significant gesture of support, Bernard Blay has donated a set of jersey each to Bia Senior High/Technical School and Adjoafua Senior High School.

This contribution comes ahead of the 2024 Inter-Schools Sports Competition (INTERCO), set to commence on July 22nd at Juaboso Senior High School.

Bernard Blay’s dedication to enhancing sports in local schools is evident in his ongoing initiatives. Previously, he donated three footballs and trophies to each of the 11 circuits in Bia West for basic school games, reinforcing his commitment to nurturing young talent and promoting physical education.

In an exclusive interview with Sefwinews, Bernard Gyebi Blay expressed his encouragement and support for the students participating in the tournament.

“I urge them to go and make a difference at the tournament with discipline, hard work, and determination,” he stated.

He further motivated the students by promising a surprise package if they succeed in bringing home any of the trophies.

“I urged them to bring home some of the trophies they are going to compete for,” he added.

Bia Senior High/Technical School, currently the defending champions in girls’ soccer, will undoubtedly strive to uphold their title and showcase their prowess in the upcoming competition.
