Harry Addo has retained his position as the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Western North Regional Communications Officer after securing a convincing victory in the party’s regional executives election held on Sunday, August 16, 2026.
Addo polled 130 votes to defeat Derrick Danso, who obtained 64 votes, giving him another mandate to lead the party’s regional communications team.

In his post-election message, Harry Addo expressed appreciation to the delegates and supporters across the Western North Region for the confidence and trust they had placed in him.
He thanked the delegates for their support and pledged to continue serving the party with commitment while working to strengthen its communication structures and effectively project the NPP’s message across the region.
Addo also expressed gratitude to the party’s rank and file, campaign supporters and all those who contributed to his successful re-election.
