Pious Vincent Abakah has been elected as the new New Patriotic Party (NPP) Western North Regional Chairman after emerging victorious in the party’s regional election.
Abakah secured 100 votes to beat his closest contender, McDaniels Nyame, who secured 85 votes. Martha Kwayie Manu followed with 9 votes.
The results reflect a clear mandate from delegates for Abakah to take charge of the NPP in the Western North Region as the party prepares to strengthen its grassroots structures and reposition itself for future political contests.
