Renowned broadcaster Kofi Adoma is currently in Dubai receiving urgent medical attention to restore his eyesight following a tragic incident in Dormaa.
New details have emerged about the accident and the events leading up to his condition.
According to Joy News, the incident occurred during a funeral in Dormaa, where musketry was part of the traditional ceremony. Gunpowder from one of the firearms reportedly struck Kofi Adoma’s face, causing severe injuries to his eyes.
The broadcaster was initially treated in Ghana but was later flown to Dubai for advanced medical care after experiencing blurry vision.
Wife Provides Update on Kofi Adoma’s Condition
Kofi Adoma’s wife, Nana Eturba, popularly known as Miracle Adoma, has addressed public concerns about her husband’s health. In a heartfelt social media post, she acknowledged the overwhelming support and shared updates on his recovery.
“Sorry I can’t respond to the numerous WhatsApp calls on my phone and that of my husband now. Currently, he is stable, and we hope for the best. Thanks for the care,” she wrote.
The broadcaster remains in stable condition, with his family and well-wishers hopeful for a full recovery.
