New Medeama SC signing Emmanuel Annor is hoping to form a devastating attacking partnership with Black Satellites captain Kelvin Nkrumah as the Ghana Premier League champions prepare for the 2026/27 season.
The 23-year-old winger recently completed a permanent move to the Tarkwa-based club from Nations FC, adding more quality and attacking depth to Medeama’s squad ahead of their title defence and TotalEnergies CAF Champions League campaign.
Annor, widely regarded as one of the most exciting attacking talents in the domestic league, believes Medeama’s ambition and talented squad provide the ideal environment for him to continue developing and achieving greater success.
The attacker is particularly looking forward to combining with Kelvin Nkrumah, a fellow Sefwi native and Ghana U-20 captain, as the duo aims to create one of the most exciting attacking partnerships in the Ghana Premier League.
Both players hail from the Western North Region and are expected to carry the pride of their roots as they represent Medeama on the domestic and continental stage.
“I have admired what Medeama has built over the years, and I can’t wait to play alongside players like Kelvin Nkrumah. I believe together we can create something special and form one of the most exciting attacking partnerships in the league. The fans have seen Emmanuel Annor from a distance, but they will now see a more improved, determined and complete player in the Mauve and Yellow,” Annor said.
The former Nations FC forward added that he joined Medeama with a strong desire to help the club achieve its targets.
“The standard at Medeama is already very high, and my responsibility is to contribute to taking the team even further. We want to defend the Ghana Premier League title, compete strongly in the CAF Champions League and continue creating history together,” he stated.
Annor’s arrival represents another major statement from Medeama as head coach Ibrahim Tanko continues to assemble a squad capable of competing on multiple fronts.
With Annor’s pace, creativity and attacking instincts alongside Kelvin Nkrumah’s skill and youthful energy, Medeama supporters will be hoping the Sefwi duo can become a key force behind another successful season for the Mauve and Yellow.
