The Member of Parliament for Bia East Constituency, Richard Acheampong, has made substantial contributions to Adabokrom Senior High School (SHS) in ahead of the 2024 Inter Schools Sports Competition.
The MP’s donation includes an undisclosed amount of cash, soft drinks, and packs of bottled water, all aimed at supporting the school as it gears up for the competition scheduled to take place from July 22 to July 26 at Juaboso Senior High School.
During a brief ceremony held at the school premises on Saturday, July 20, the Bia West Constituency Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, Musili Siaka, presented the cash and items on behalf of Richard Acheampong.
Musili Siaka emphasized the MP’s commitment to the school’s activities, assuring them of further assistance whenever needed.
“The activities of Adabokrom SHS are very important to Richard Acheampong, and he is always ready to support the school in any way possible,” Siaka stated.
Samuel Boateng, the headmaster of Adabokrom Community Day Senior High School, received the donations with gratitude, highlighting the MP’s ongoing role in the school’s development.
“Without his support, the school would lack many essential resources. We are very thankful and confident that Richard Acheampong will continue to support us whenever we call on him,” Boateng said.
He further appealed to the Member of Parliament to continue supporting the school whenever needed.
