Bia West deserves massive development, not politics of Insults – Bernard Blay tells NDC

Bernard Gyebi Blay, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Bia West, has strongly condemned the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) for what he described as resorting to “insults and other tactics” in their political campaigns.

Speaking to a crowd of enthusiastic supporters at a campaign rally in Debiso, Bernard Gyebi Blay expressed his unwavering confidence in the NPP’s ability to win the parliamentary seat in the upcoming general elections.

“The NDC knows they have lost the election; that is why they are using these means. Whether they like it or not, we are taking the Bia West seat from them,” he declared, emphasizing that the constituency deserves a campaign focused on development rather than divisive rhetoric.

Bernard Gyebi Blay underscored the achievements made under his leadership and the NPP’s administration, highlighting the ongoing progress in Bia West constiteuncy.

He pointed to the construction of District Police Head Quarters, Yawmatwe Market, Essam Market pavement, the District Assembly office, classroom blocks and the first Astroturf in the Western North Region as a significant milestone that will bring tremendous benefits to the area.

Highlighting on the construction of the Astroturf, he noted, will not only provide a venue for youth sports and recreation but also served as a catalyst for community engagement and development.

“This is just one example of how we have prioritized the welfare of our youth and fostered an environment where they can thrive,” he added.

The NPP candidate also emphasized his dedication to creating sustainable employment opportunities for youth in the constituency.

He revealed that more than one hundred Bia West youth have been recruited into the security services, including the police, military, prisons, and immigration.

This initiative, he stated, is part of a broader effort to reduce unemployment and empower the youth with skills that provide job security and long-term stability.

“By giving our young people the opportunity to serve their nation, we are investing in their future and building a stronger, more resilient Bia West,” Blay explained.

Bernard Gyebi Blay’s speech also touched on the importance of continuity in development, urging the electorate to support the NPP for further progress. “We need development in Bia West, and with the help of my elder brother (Dr. Augustine Blay and the NPP government, we have achieved a lot in the district,” he asserted.

He called on the people to vote for him and the NPP, emphasizing that their support is essential for sustaining and expanding the positive changes underway.

“Vote number one and the NPP, and I promise to bring massive development to Bia West,” he urged, reinforcing his pledge to remain committed to improving the lives of the district’s residents.

The candidate’s confidence in an NPP victory was palpable as he spoke about the party’s proven track record of delivering progress across the nation. “I know the NPP would be crowned victorious,” Blay stated.

He pointed to the party’s past successes in various regions and assured voters that continued support would mean more infrastructure, job creation, and community development.

He encouraged constituents to focus on tangible progress rather than getting distracted by negative political tactics.

Bernard Gyebi Blay reminded the people of Bia West that their choice at the polls would determine the direction of their future.

He pledged to continue working hard to ensure that Bia West is not only a place of opportunity but also a model of sustainable growth and prosperity.

“My commitment to Bia West is unwavering. Together, we can achieve more and secure a brighter future for our community,” he said, leaving a message of hope and determination for the residents as they head into election day.
