Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipal Assembly lineup spectacular events for Independence Day celebration

The Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipal Assembly is gearing up for a spectacular 67th Independence Day celebration, with a lineup of exciting events planned by the Planning Committee.

The Planning Committee has been hard at work finalizing arrangements to ensure a seamless and remarkable experience for all participants.

The festivities kicked off with a community-driven clean-up exercise and health work on Saturday, March 2nd, demonstrating the Assembly’s commitment to both celebration and community welfare.

Continuing the spirit of celebration, Sunday, March 3rd, saw the staging of the Bibiani Strongest competition, adding an element of excitement and local pride to the proceedings.

As part of the extended celebration, the Municipal Assembly kicked off a three-day football tournament on Monday, March 4, bringing together teams and spectators for spirited matches, scheduled to conclude on Independence Day, March 6.

Adding vibrancy to the streets, Wednesday brings forth a lively street carnival organized by the Municipal Assembly, promising a colorful and festive atmosphere for participants and spectators alike.

The pinnacle of the celebrations will be the Anniversary Parade on Wednesday, March 6th, held at the prestigious International Park in Oforikrom, Bibiani. This grand event will showcase the pride and unity of the community as they commemorate Ghana’s independence in style.

To cap off the main event, popular Ghanaian artiste Strongman Burner will perform live at the Bibiani Homecoming event, held at the forecourt of the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipal Assembly Administration office, promising an evening of entertainment and celebration for all attendees.
