Bibiani Goldstars Coach achieves target against Nations FC

Bibiani Goldstars managed to hold the formidable Nations FC to a nail-biting 0-0 draw in the Ghana Premier League week 28 fixture at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex on Saturday.

Prior to the match, Head Coach Stephen Frimpong Manso of Bibiani Goldstars had set his sights on securing at least a point against the tough opposition of Nations FC.

Speaking in a pre-match interview, the Coach expressed determination and confidence in his team’s ability to compete despite the challenges they would face.

True to his words, Coach Manso, alongside his coaching staff, meticulously mapped out a tactical formation aimed at thwarting Nations FC’s advances, particularly on their home turf.

With astute decision-making and strategic planning, Manso’s guidance proved instrumental in nullifying the threats posed by the Premier League contenders.

Leading the charge for Bibiani Goldstars was captain Ernest Kussi, whose recent stellar performances between the goalposts bolstered the team’s defensive resilience.

Supported by the formidable duo of former GPL Best Player Vincent Atinga and Gideon Anaba at the heart of defense, the Goldstars showcased an unwavering determination to keep Nations FC at bay.

The attacking prowess of the Bibiani Goldstars was also on full display, with star players such as 2022/23 GPL Goalking Abednego Tetteh, Emmanuel Odai, Frank Amankwah, and inform Mawuli Wayo exhibiting exceptional skill and determination throughout the match.

Their collective efforts, coupled with Frimpong Manso’s tactical acumen, ensured that the team accomplished the dream set forth by their head coach.

The hard-fought draw against Nations FC serves as a testament to Bibiani Goldstars’ resilience and determination to compete at the highest level of Ghanaian football.

As they continue their journey in the Ghana Premier League, Coach Frimpong Manso and his squad will undoubtedly look to build on this impressive performance and strive for further success in the remainder of the season.
