Dr Gideon Brenya Agyapong Calls for Unity Ahead of NPP Constituency Executive Elections

Dr Gideon Brenya Agyapong, an aspirant for the Western North Regional Youth Organizer position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has extended his best wishes to all aspirants contesting in the party’s upcoming Constituency Executive Elections, urging them to uphold unity, integrity, and sportsmanship throughout the electoral process.

The NPP Constituency Executive Elections are expected to elect new constituency executives on Saturday, July 11, 2026, who will steer the affairs of the party at the constituency level and play a key role in mobilizing support and preparing the party for upcoming electoral activities.

In a goodwill message addressed to all Constituency Executive aspirants, Dr Gideon Brenya Agyapong described the elections as a defining moment for the NPP in the Western North Region.

He noted that the willingness of party members to contest for leadership positions demonstrates their commitment to strengthening the party and advancing its vision.

According to him, aspiring for a leadership position within the party is a noble decision that reflects dedication to the growth, unity, and long-term success of the NPP.

“I commend your courage, commitment, and willingness to serve,” he stated, encouraging all contestants to remain focused on the collective interest of the party rather than personal ambitions.

Dr Gideon Brenya Agyapong further appealed to all aspirants to conduct their campaigns and the election process with the highest level of integrity, mutual respect, and fairness.

He emphasized that the internal elections should showcase the democratic principles upon which the NPP is built.

He stressed that while competition is inevitable, party members should remember that they belong to one political family with a shared objective of securing victory in future elections.

Turning his attention to delegates, Gideon Brenya Agyapong urged them to exercise their voting rights with wisdom, fairness, and impartiality.

He encouraged delegates to vote for candidates who will best serve the interests of the party and contribute to the development of their respective communities.

“I appeal to the delegates to exercise your mandate with wisdom, fairness, and in the best interest of our party and the development of our communities,” he said.

The Regional Youth Organizer aspirant also expressed optimism that the outcome of the elections would foster greater unity and strengthen the party ahead of future political contests.

He concluded by wishing every aspirant a peaceful, transparent, and successful election while praying for God’s blessings upon the NPP, the Western North Region, and Ghana.
