Kofis FC defeat Memphis FC at Kunuma Park

Kofis FC secured a resounding 3-1 away victory over Memphis FC in a preseason friendly held at Kunuma Park.

The match, which showcased Kofis FC’s attacking prowess and solid defensive play, was a crucial test as they prepare for the upcoming season.

The first half saw Kofis FC take control early in the game. Emmanuel Osei Kwame opened the scoring in the 20th minute with a well-placed shot that found the back of the net.

Just before halftime, Stephen Amponsah doubled Kofis FC’s lead, demonstrating the team’s offensive strength and coordination. With a 2-0 lead heading into the break, Kofis FC seemed poised to build on their advantage.

Memphis FC responded with renewed energy in the second half. Oscar Osei pulled one back for Memphis FC in the 70th minute, providing a glimmer of hope for the home side.

However, Kofis FC remained resolute and continued to press forward, looking to reassert their dominance.

In the 85th minute, Edward Owusu sealed the victory for Kofis FC with a decisive goal that put the game beyond reach for Memphis FC.

After the match, the head coach of Kofis FC, Richmond Asiedu, expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance.

He praised the players for their commitment and resilience, highlighting their impressive display of skill and teamwork.
