Sefwi All Stars spilt points with Ebusua Dwarfsat Asafo Ramos Park

Sefwi All Stars and Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs engaged in an intense showdown at the Asafo Ramos Park, fighting tooth and nail, but ultimately settling for a goalless draw in matchday 16 of the Access Bank Division One League.

Despite numerous attempts from both sides to break the deadlock, neither team could find the back of the net, leading to a stalemate that left fans on the edge of their seats until the final whistle.

The tension on the field was palpable, with both teams showcasing their defensive prowess to deny their opponents any clear-cut scoring opportunities.

However, the offensive efforts were thwarted time and again by resilient defenses, resulting in a deadlock that persisted until the end of the game.

The match took a dramatic turn in the 85th minute when Ebusua Dwarfs’ player, Edward Gyepi Smith, was shown a red card, reducing the visiting team to ten men. Despite the numerical advantage, Sefwi All Stars couldn’t capitalize on the situation, and the game concluded with honors even.

Sefwi All Stars, who had the opportunity to play three consecutive home games, managed to secure a win against Soccer Intellectuals but had to settle for draws against Cape Coast Venomous Vipers and Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs.

With this result, Sefwi All Stars retains the 9th spot in the league standings with 20 points from 16 games. While dropping points at home might be disappointing, the team remains optimistic about their performance in the upcoming fixtures as they strive to climb higher in the league table.
