Soccer Lions resume training ahead of WRFA Division II second round

Debiso-based Soccer Lions Football Club is set to resume training in preparation for the second round of the Western Regional Football Association (WRFA) Division Two League.

The announcement was made by the club’s Head Coach, Martin Benjamin Appiah, who emphasized the importance of player turnout and readiness as the team looks to maintain its competitive edge.

The first training session is scheduled to take place on Monday, January 27, at Onyankopon Park, beginning at 2:30 PM.

Coach Appiah has called on all players to report in full numbers and on time, stressing that preparation during this critical phase will be instrumental in achieving their objectives for the season.

Soccer Lions FC has its sights set on a second consecutive qualification for the WRFA Super Middle League and possibly qualify to Ghana’s Division One League.

Management has reiterated its commitment to supporting the technical team and players to ensure this goal becomes a reality.

Despite the challenges of a competitive league, the Simba Boys have positioned themselves favourably. They currently sit third on the league table with 8 points and a game in hand.

Fans, supporters, and stakeholders are encouraged to show their unwavering support for the team as they aim for another historic achievement.
