The NPP Parliamentary Candidate for the Suaman Constituency, Frederick Gilbert Addy, has been appointed as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer responsible for Finance and Investment at the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA).
The appointment was made in accordance with Article 195 (1) of the 1992 Constitution and Section 15 (1) (a) of the National Health Insurance Act, 2012 (Act 852). This significant appointment reflects the trust and confidence placed in Frederick Addy by the President and the government.
The President, in his official communication, stated: “I am pleased to inform you that the President has appointed you to act as the Deputy Chief Executive responsible for Finance and Investment of the National Health Insurance Authority (the ‘Authority’) pending receipt of the constitutionally required advice of the governing Board of the Authority, given in consultation with the Public Services Commission.”
In his new role, Frederick Addy will be overseeing the financial and investment operations of the NHIA, contributing to the efficient and effective management of the Authority’s resources.
This appointment highlights the government’s commitment to strengthening the NHIA and ensuring the sustainability of the National Health Insurance Authority.
