“We’re prepared and capable of beating Bia Stars” – Adjoafuaman Coach

Adjoafuaman will face their bitter rivals, Bia Stars, in what promises to be an electrifying local derby in Week 4 of the Western Region Football Association (WRFA) Division Two League.

The match will take place at the Nana Kofi Asare Park in Sefwi Adjoafua in the Bia West District.

Assistant Coach for Adjoafuaman, David Kwarteng, widely known as “Candy,” is confident as his side prepares for the high-stakes encounter.

David Kwarteng acknowledged the significance of the game but emphasized that the club is fully prepared for the challenge.

“It’s a big game, but we are really prepared for it – from the management, the technical team, to the playing body,” said Kwarteng.

The club legend, who assumed the role as Assistant Coach last season, acknowledged the challenges that come with a local derby but remains optimistic about his team’s chances.

“A local derby isn’t easy, but we have prepared our minds very well for the game,” Candy added.

Adjoafuaman has proven its mettle in recent competitions, having participated in both the Super Middle League and MTN FA Cup for consecutive seasons.

David Kwarteng believes the team is more than capable of defeating Bia Stars. “Per our level, we are capable of beating Bia Stars,” he confidently stated.

Reflecting on their season so far, David Kwarteng pointed to the club’s mixed results: a win against Agoro Maa at home, a loss to Soccer Lions, and a subsequent victory over Adom FC.

“We are taking it match by match,” he said. “As a coach, I’ve seen massive improvement in my team, and we will take on Bia Stars and put them where they belong.”

With both teams determined to claim bragging rights, all attention will be on Nana Kofi Asare Park this weekend as Adjoafuaman looks to maintain their momentum in the WRFA Division Two League.
